Portion is a gifted artist that produces high-quality work in all of his endeavours. Portion maintains a high level of quality in everything he does, from his music to his videos to his social media presence. In tunes like "TIES" and "WAVE," his melodic rap style and vision for his music are easily heard and seen. The powerful dramatic instrumentals, along with Portion's smooth flow, create an atmosphere that is easily described as "empowering." Some individuals even refer to his music as an anthem, a motivator, and an anthem for their lives. Portion's ability to blend his distinct vocals with a powerful instrumental and generate memorable and catchy hooks elevates the energy of these songs to new heights. Portion's overall package is what makes me like him so much; he stands out among the Toronto crowd. From someone who creates content himself, his dedication to making everything he creates and shares of high quality is impressive. It's not easy to constantly release high-quality content, but that's what sets Portion apart, and it's also what sets DMTV apart.

"Ties" was the first song that caught my interest. Everything about the show, from the music to the images, was impossible to ignore. Portion's head was on fire during the performance (a reference to Kendrick Lamar's "HUMBLE" video). This is simply one of many outstanding songs on his album. Since 2017, he's been releasing music, with "14," "For Trappers Only," and "Ambitions of a Patek" among my personal favorites. Since 2020, Portion has gotten more consistent, delivering quality music after quality music. It's been incredible to watch him grow. He isn't slowing down either; with his most recent album, titled, he has been putting pressure on the competition.“HELLA CLEAN”. Another Melodic rap tune for the masses. Portion just doesn’t stop, he is here to stay and his music speaks for itself.
